During the winter, Sean Shochat and I had an opportunity to spend an entire week shooting in Livigno, Italy.

The first day opened with a blast and some heavy powder in a great sunset session.

The forecast promised us loads of fresh powder to work with in the tree lines but unfortunately we ended up with just cloudy down days and no snow. We had to come up with some new creative ideas to overcome the poor conditions.

Searching for interesting shots, we discovered some wall ride features in Mottolino and decided to see what we could do. We immediately grabbed our shovels and got to work setting up this shot with multiple flashes including one located on a tree with these super cool clamps!
